Oldham & North Tameside Team

Sheree George - Lead Cat Sitter & Owner

Sheree founded The Cat Care Co. in 2023 after spotting a gap in the Oldham and Tameside area for high-quality, professional, species-specific home care. She wanted to create a service where both pets and their owners felt genuinely supported, combining exceptional welfare standards with reliability, training, excellent communication, and the peace of mind that comes from digital invoicing, secure online payments, and detailed daily visit reports

At home, Sheree is surrounded by her own little zoo: five cats, two rabbits, a hamster, a tortoise and a fish tank — so she understands exactly what it means to trust someone else with your animals. She also holds a Level 3 qualification in Feline Care, Welfare and Behaviour, reflecting that caring for animals isn’t just her career… it’s her passion.

Rebecca Turner - Sunday & Cover Cat Sitter

Rebecca has been a devoted animal lover since childhood, and has shared her life with her beloved dog, Ruby, for the past 15 years. More recently, she welcomed a rescued yellow-bellied turtle into her family, further reflecting her natural compassion and commitment to animal care.

Rebecca is currently studying Psychology at university, driven by a desire to better understand behaviour and to help others. This insight into emotional wellbeing, combined with her caring and attentive nature, makes her a thoughtful and conscientious presence in clients’ homes.

She understands the trust owners place in us when leaving their pets in our care and approaches every visit with kindness, responsibility, and respect.

Zahra Hroo - Sunday & Cover Cat Sitter

Zahra has had a lifelong love of animals and has been caring for them from a young age. Growing up with a variety of pets including horses, cats, hamsters and guinea pigs, she has developed a natural understanding of animal behaviour and the importance of gentle, attentive care.

Her experience with cats is especially close to her heart. Zahra took in her cat Nugget as a stray when she was just nine years old and has cared for her ever since, alongside helping to look after her family cat, Pippin, for over 10 years.

This hands-on experience has given her a strong sense of responsibility and a genuine bond with the animals she cares for.
