The Cat Care Co. was founded in 2023 by Sheree George. With five cats of her own, Sheree struggled to find a sitter offering the flexibility she needed to make sure all of her cats were properly cared for while she travelled. A quick five-minute pop-in wasn't going to cut it. She wanted dedicated care — but it simply didn't seem to exist in the Oldham and Tameside area.
And that's where The Cat Care Co. was born.
In a relatively short space of time, The Cat Care Co. has gone from strength to strength. Nominated for the Tameside Business Awards in 2025 and featured on BBC television, it's proof of something Sheree suspected all along — cat owners wanted more.
